New for the fall: We have expanded our program to include the pre-k experience for children 4 and 5 
- Theme-based discovery curriculum using colors, numbers, shapes and the alphabet
- Bible verses and stories each week
- Christian stories and songs
- Follows the Texas pre-k curriculum guidelines
- Emergent reading skills
- Pre-writing and individually assessed writing skills
- “Early Math” program
- Sensory, movement, art and music
- Graduation celebration in May
- Free before and after care

Monday - Friday
The center is open from 6:30 to 6:00.
Mrs. Michelle wants her children in class by 8:30 to gain the full benefit of Pre-K!

Adjusted for weather and God’s will
6:30 - 8:30 opeining activites and Breakfast
8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Arrival: centers or outside; weather will be a consideration
8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. Wash hands, snack, clean-up; organize centers and morning activities
9 a.m.-11 a.m. Academics, story time, circle time
10:45 a.m. – 11 a.m. Clean-up: wash hands
11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Lunch
11:45 a.m. – Noon stories and songs
Noon – 2 p.m. Quiet hours; nap time
2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Wash hands, clean-up; go outside
3 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Outside time
3:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Wash hands; Snack
4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Outside if nice weather; Outside activities will use the SPARK Recreational Program for directed activities followed by outside free time. If the weather is too cold, Center Activities will be planned.
On rainy days, below 45 and above 90 degrees, we may be inside watching a cartoon video late in the day. We do not use the television in our center for learning activities.
Since there is no supply fee, Miss Michelle has asked that all the children in the pre-k program put together supply boxes. She has asked that the children bring all the following supplies to store in a box in their cubby:
- 4 Elmer's Glue
- 4 glue sticks
- 1 Kid scissors
- 2 Crayons - 24 count
- 1 large markers - 8 to 10 per pack
- 1 small markers
- 1 pencil box
- 2 packs of pencils
- pencil top erasers
- 4 writing tablets - five lines
- 1pencil box
- 4 paintbrushes
- 1 water color tin
- 2 yellow folders
- 1 black 1/2 inch binder
- 1 small box of ziploc bags
- 1 box of tissues
- 1 hand sanitizer
- 1 package of wipes
- 1 small pencil sharpener
- 1 rest mat - all students - current students need to have a new one
- new clients need a blanket box to put their rest mat and blanket inside for storage
